It is hard to write a song using only electronic instruments (no guitars), I found anyway.  Guitar is the backbone to everything I do, so it was real weird.  And to make it stranger, I started with drums.  The drums are from my Wavedrum, I banged away on it and recorded the results, then I wrote lyrics, and finally put the music on, completely backwards to how I usually do it.  For the music it is all synth.....this is what popped out the other side.  I had to try to get one in for emuFest.  I am going back to the comfort of my guitars now.

I just wrote on this thread - but it seems to have disappeared?

Love the sound you've got here - maybe this way of writing will give you a new avenue for your talent.  Great stuff.

Love the Wavedrum and those synthesizer swept filters, Dave - you even got a monophonic synth line in there! For someone who finds himself more comfortable on guitar, I think you did quite well in the all-electronic format.

This has certainly been an interesting fest so far, and we're only a few days into it. The future looks bright... ;D

Hey BB. Great tune man!! I can relate to what you said. The guitar being the backbone but hey, all in all,you pulled it off and from just drums. Be proud.
I don`t have a keyboard so won`t be in on the emufest, but i find all this music more interesting than i thought i would.
This place sparks nothing but great things. :D
