Here's my latest and probably last for a while.  This one grew on me so much I started hearing it in my sleep!  :'(

It was inspired by the echo effects songs posted here but after the echo intro it turns into a "real" song.  Sort of a Scotish or Irish flavor or?

As always, all comments welcome and thanks for the listen.  (Now to start getting into all the great material on this board!)

Echoes of Actions (c) 2010 Ken J Hill
V1===========================
You know it's late
   You can not wait
      For morning to arrive
--------------------------------------
Don't hesitate -
   (or) Procrastinate
      Be lucky you're alive
--------------------------------------
You drank your fill
   Now pay the bill
      And get up off the floor
--------------------------------------
Still here again
   For another spin
      Yet can not find the door
C1============================
   There's consequencies to be had
      for every thing you do
---------------------------------------
   You just can't find the answers
      in the bottom of a brew
---------------------------------------
   The echos of your actions
      should be loud and clear
---------------------------------------
   Your problems keep compounding
      adding more for you to fear
V2=============================
Like all the rest
   You'll take the test
      The creature's on your back
-----------------------------------------
And when you fight
   You'll know it's right
      There is no turning back
-----------------------------------------
Do not go out
   but scream & shout
      Maybe even pray
-----------------------------------------
And when you're free
   then you'll see
      That life is good today

Like it. Skips along and really catchy... Love the feel - makes you start it again when it's over.

Good idea and lyrics too, all the mental resonances of the word "Echo"...

I can see why you were hearing it in your sleep :D

Love it from right from the opening (that's an amazing intro!). There's a bit of a jig / reel feeling as it bounces along, but it's just a great listen regardless of genre. The guitar work is brilliant - lovely clean tones and playing. Fantastic work.

Ferryman_1957

I really enjoyed this. I thought it was going to be all U2 from that really attention grabbing intro then it went into a laid back ish rocker with a definite Celtic feel. Very different and very inventive. Like Tim, I really like the guitar work on this one, well done.

Cheers,

Nigel
