Question about Bouncing?

If, for example, you have recordings on tracks 1 - 4 ( all on V tracks 1, obvioulsy ). You have track 1 panned to the left and track 2 panned to the right. You then bounce tracks 1 - 4 onto tracks 1 and 2 ( V- tracks 2 ). Do you then need to keep the pan for tracks 1 and 2 as they were to retain the desired pan? Or do you need to turn the pan, for the resulting bounced tracks, back to the centre? Am i making sense? If so, does anybody understand what i am asking?  ???

on v2 track 1 and 2 you need to pan one track full left and the other full right to get the full stereo spectrum.
best way to do this is press trk1 and 2 simultaneously then go to pan and highlight track 1 then press value button once and both tracks will be panned this way
