This would have put a big ol' grin on my face even with no vocals - I particularly dig the twittering synth sounds. Then the voice - I hope you take this with the compliment I intend: at the "climbing a tree" part it hit me - sounds like Beavis from the old "Beavis and "Butthead" cartoon! This song gives me a much-needed late afternoon boost.

Thanks guys !! I appreciate your kind comments on my attemt to do things I do not normally do !!

That robot/vocoder patch is really cool, tho I had to take the vox in pieces, cause (as far as I know) you can't have an external source for the note. You have to set it in the patch, so I basically had to stop and edit the patch every time I wanted to "sing" another note. It is really weird doing live tho, I did sing a melody on the chorus, but the patch just "transpose" it to the selected note. Really fun tho !!

And the lyrics where done stream-of-thought style (I had no idea of what to sing about  except for the title of the song when I hit record) .... don't really know what that says about my sanity ;

I've never been a big fan of synth music, I'm really happy with synthesisers making "traditional" sounds - it puts instruments we don't own into our arrangements, and who can afford an orchestra?! etc ... But "electronic" synth music has never really grabbed me at all, not entirely sure why...

... but this put a big smile on my face, Geir

I'm not sure how you manage it, but when you "go off on one" with vocals (or anything else) you always seem to hit a perfect balance between crazy and entirely credible
