i got a little melancholy on this one after watching one of those the memorial tributes they do for those who have passed this last year.

Listening now and this really does have a sad feel to it!!  I think it is a great tribute song to those gone!

Very melancholy indeed, lovely "horn" work, whatever that is. Great chord work which provides a very gentle platform for that nice melody. You created a lovely mood here, like you so often do.

Sort of a mix of "Sketches of Spain"-era Miles Davis and a bugler blowing "Taps." A hint of "til we meet again" hopefulness shines through the melancholy in places, for example at around the two-minute mark. Stark, yet pretty. Very moving.

this was kinda an experiment with the sounds and i'm still tweeking the trumpet patch to be a little softer more like Miles, thanks for the ref, Chip.

I like how you keep the meldy and the it does tell a story. reminds me if we had a modern day war here with lost children looking for there parents, or hope to surrive. sad but a true feeling.
Why don't we do it on the road?
