AHHH........A newie from Mr Satchwood...... but whoa..........this is different for you.  There is nothing wrong with that. Very inventive piece but will now have to find The Key (part one) if I can find, I won't regret, I won't forget it...............now you've got me at it.   Catchy piece and quality as all your music is.

Going out of the box is good sometimes Tommy, and you got a cool vibe going on with both of these. Musically and vocally, both are outstanding pieces of work.

Thank you Andrew!!   Part 2 was completely redone starting with vocals first (a first time for me) using Riffworks percussion, and then i fitted in the bass line and added a smidgen of guitar to round it at a tad...   i guess it was my first stab at a rap style song.

Stellar tune, Tommy! Yes, and bit different song from you. That drum/bass guitar combination works really well! And all the vocal part work well, too. That bass guitar sound is awesome!!

Tommy, I just love this. A really different style from you but I think it works really well, I love the driving bass line (particularly like the "zooms", I love that sound on the bass) and the drums with the little guitar harmonics going on. I think the vocals work really well, I really like the spoken up close feel.

The only niggle for me is that the volume of the vocal has some spikes in it and it might benefit from a bit more compression to even it out a little more with the rest of the track. But overall I really like what you've done here and you've shown you don't need to use your magnificent guitar playing to produce a really memorable track.

Cheers,

Nigel

Hey, this is a cool direction, Tommy - not your usual direction, but it's a nice detour.

And like a baby, I love the sound of those jingling keys...  :D

Thank you friends !!   I guess i need to come up with a part 3 now lol.   i basically re-did my original in a different genre to test out my new mic...   i prob won't be doing too many of these, but it was fun to record.
