i wrote the music, and a friend wrote the lyrics.  It's a little sketchy at parts, but it's one of the first tunes i put together.

I think your off to a great start with this.  The music and lyrics are well thought out!!   By the time you build it up and fill it out it will be awesome, but also it stands just as it is!!

Man, I dig this! Love the jazz-folk guitar work, and you have a nice, warm voice to complement the music. The whole package, including lyrical theme, reminds me of Bruce Cockburn. I think it stands on its own now, maybe with the guitar solo boosted a bit in the mix. Some spare electric piano chords might be a cool touch, too. Great job!

Very nice job, love the chord work and sound on the guitar. You have a great voice and deliver an excellent vocal performance but the vox could do with being a bit clearer in the mix. Might be a bit more volume would help, or perhaps a bit more top end on teh EQ to help them cut through against the jazzy guitar tones. Excellent work though, really enjoyed it. Do tell us what you used to record it.

This is wonderful. You have a great voice. Reminds me a little of the guy from Semisonic. The guitar and songwriting are both top-notch too. Quality all the way.

I agree with Nigel and BB that the vocal deserves a bit more clarity and prominence. But this is still a lovely, lovely piece of work.
