Thanks to Gritter, I just discovered this recently, but I figured it would be a great way to check out my new br800 and Sterling Audio condenser mic.

Recorded this 2 input Guitar/IN4 and sang and played at the same time... something I don't do often enough. I then added a third track for the extra vocals.

Hopefully it came out okay...

OH YEAH !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sounds brillant Saijinn !! Ain't it fun to be able to do these "live" recordings and make them sound so good ? !??!?!?!? I used a lot of time before I got them to sound half as good as this !!

So glad you've joined the 800-club !!

That guitar sounds good, what patch did you use?

Never heard of Elliot Smith before, but this makes me want to check him out. Fantastic performance here Sai, you really captrured the sound of your vocals and guitar very well. The extra vocal just adds some icing on the cake, a fabulous interpretation. Enjoy that BR800 - it is a great piece of kit and I can see you are already doing really well with it.

Cheers,

Nicely played and sung , the BR-800 is a great recording tool , you sound as though you are getting to grips with it well

I am really enjoying getting to know this wicked black box. ;) Not too much different. I am a little perturbed that there are some patches missing from this that were in the br600. :/

Thanks for the comments all ;)

But since the BR-800 contains all of the effects in the BR-600 and then some, you should be able to recreate all of the BR-600 patches and save them in the User Bank or Song Bank.

Great version Sai. Good choice too. The song is sublime. You've captured the feel of this song so nicely.

I guess that IS true 64... I am not even sure where to start in trying to re-create them. Maybe when I have some time I'll delve into it, otherwise I think I'll just find another effect. ;)

Gritter

It is is thanks to you that I found this wonderful song. Thanks again ;)

This is fantastic Sai, I am getting to grips with the guitar section of my BR800 but still trying to improve on my mic settings to get the right sound , I am using my sure mic, maybe I need to try something else, What Mic settings did you use? This sounds brilliant Cheers and happy new year to you.....Alex
