Yup. I did it. I'm done. Finished. Completed. It's over. (Oops, I wasn't suppose to tell you.)

It's been years since you trusted someone else
Now you only pretend
I wonder when you're gonna realize
You've lost your only friend

Don't tell me that it's over
That it's coming to an end
I don't wanna know about
the shit you're always in
Don't tell me that it's over
Our time will be no more
Don't tell me that you loved the ride
As you lock me out your door
Don't tell me that it's over

You say you just refuse to believe
In noble acts
You say this world is built on greed
You just recite the facts

I know it's not the easiest
Thing you've ever done
But when you think about someone else
The better you become

I know you haven't heard a word I've said
So let me set you straight
You're gonna have a meeting in hell
And you won't be late

Congratulations :)

I haven't heard them all, not by a long shot, but this is right up there.

I was over halfway through before I realised there were no drums :D. It made me listen to it again as soon as it finished. Love it...

By the way, you've inspired me - I'm writing my first new song in ages right now. Before I pressed play on yours, there was something about your title and this opening line in your post:

"Yup. I did it. I'm done. Finished. Completed. It's over. (Oops, I wasn't suppose to tell you.)"

I was wearing a guitar and something just started. So I got the MBR out instead. All the time I was writing I could see the top of your post on my laptop. An hour or so later, having a rest and a coffee, I've come back to the laptop to listen to yours. Thank goodness that A) mine sounds NOTHING like yours and, B) I like yours so much :D

Many thanks for the inspiration :)

Sorry to tell you this Piggy but......it's over. Can't believe you managed it and you ended with a belter, love the dirty sounds and punchy performance. The guitars work really well on this, the solos going on behind that raw rhythm really complement the lyrics.

What are you going to do now it IS over?

Cheers,

Nigel

j.g.

That is some feat to complete so many, but also to finish them with all the quality that you have.
All a different style, but with a certain T.C. stamp through them.
And I bet you are glad this over - so go on have a holiday.
Well done   -   Geoff

Well done Piggy, as I've said before instead of getting tired and weary your music and performances got stronger as the year went on. Well done my friend, whats the next challenge............Willie

Reminds me of one of my fave bands, Son Volt - also Green Day and early Cars. Good stuff!
That guitar is brilliantly grungy. Your voice is in fine form, with some anger and bite to it.
This would work as a solo acoustic performance, should you ever want to do that. I can hear some blues harp where the guitar solos.
