5-string banjo. I don't hit that short, high G string nearly enough, but I'm working on it.
Might add guitar - in fact, if I perform it next month I will probably do it on guitar.
Oddly, the instrument I thought would be cool to add is trumpet, in between the verses especially - cutting through the banjo like the sun coming through the clouds. And I have a trumpet-playing friend who I'm trying to talk into brushing up on his horn chops - plus he's fun to drink with.

Made me smile all way long, thanks, this is priceless.

well there is one I didn't think of, and yes I can see that working, banjo and trumpet, you sure would have a unique sound going on with that.

I thoroughly enjoyed this. The songwriting is great, but that banjo sound just brings sunshine to my ears. Lovely work. And thanks for bringing on another GAS attack!

Geir

Tuba, that's the only thing I would add, if I could play it, which I don't, but e trumpet sounds cool too !!!

Seriously love this one. You just can't be sad when listening to great banjo-music like this!

oh ... I feel the GAS-attack too !

Superb Chip, the simple combination of vox and banjo works so well here. And both are great, I love your vox here and the banjo sounds great the way you have recorded it. It's got a great intimate feel to the recording, like you are sat right in front of me. Loved it!

Cheers,
