Christmas time is here...who is planning to get drunk over the next few days?

I have discovered an Elixir of life. I can't tell you how yummy (and filling) this stuff is.

It's a friend's family recipe of Irish Cream.

In a blender whip together:
1 can sweetened condensed milk
3/4 cup 1/2 and 1/2 cream
2 Tablespoons chocolate syrup
1/4 teaspoon of coconut extract
1 egg (optional)
1/2 cup (or more) of Maker's Mark

Shake well before imbibing.

I'm planning just a few drinks, but I find that Mrs R has put bubbly in the fridge for breakfast, along with a pleasant white to go with the dinner... she'll probably be thinking sherry while we're doing the sprouts... and she has designs on a(nother) large port & brandy for the evening...

Every Christmas Morning about 10 o clock, I go to see a neighbour of mine who,s birthday is also Christmas Day, she is 87 today, by 11.30 we finish a bottle of whisky, I have done it for many years, as she lives alone and enjoys a drink,

So far I have been pretty tame, only had 5 beers last night...its still early here in Atlantic Canada though..11:00 am...lots of beer in the fridge...hmmm...Happy Holidays everyone.
