This is great! Good ol' muscular blues/rock of the Bad Co/Foreigner variety. Solid rhythm work over a fist-pumping bass line. The solo is well-played, but seems a bit over-the-top compared to the vibe you've created.
This is excellent cruising-in-the-car music. I'd love to hear a vocal.

Hey OsC long time my friend! Still making good shit I see

Thanks for your compliments, its done yet and yes Chip I agree with you, the tone is all wrong

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all!

Reminded me of early Rolling Stones except more control, agree that the tone on the break wasn't quite there but what do I know. Can't wait for the finished product, it could be a monster......Willie

Happy Xmas to you and yours

This one is definitely going somewhere good. The underlying riffs and Keef-esque groove are great. I agree with the comments about getting some vocals on this. For me, the second lead break has a touch of the greasy, slide style that Ronnie Wood would add, but just needs a bit less gain. Just my opinion. The direction is definitely right though.

mr2kewl

i agree with the consensus here.

great rocker

great lead musically and structurally.

i would just pull it back a bit in the mix. (as if i'm some sorta audio engineer :D)

I agree mostly with everyone here also.  Great song with lots of drive.  Match the vocal vibe and smooth the lead tone for a total package! ;D

Love it! ;D

It might not be obvious from the stuff I post, but this is what I play most of the time. I just never seem to record any of it...

Great sound and feel in the rhythm work. Really good groove going there. And those melodic chord sections add colour while staying in the same song.

I see what you mean about the tone on the leads. They might actually work as they are if you pull them back a bit in the mix, especially when you've worked up the drums a bit, but I'd probably go for less overdrive myself. Have you tried playing those parts with the basic rhythm tone, maybe just a bit of a treble boost? It might surprise you, ignore the fact that it doesn't seem to sustain while you're actually playing, when you listen back you might find it sounds really righteous.

Hopefully you know yourself it's already good - definitely worth working on further :)
