Howdy all y'all!

I'm in Montréal.

I just got the Boss Micro BR last week and made 3 songs.
My girlfriend calls them mini-songs.
Ok, so they aren't long.

Anyway I'd appreciate any and all feedback.
I have more to make and would like to know how I could make the next ones better than these ones!

Have a great weekend!

The song "Solace and Logic" is tuned down.
"Aftermathematics" and "The Dirge" are standard EADGBE.

I hope it wasn't out of tune.
I'm tone deaf.
Not that that stops me.

Hi Fuzz,

I'm posting my appreciation in this thread.

I like your songs, I can hear some velvet underground, some Leonard Cohen amongst others in the possible influences.

Welcome to the board, keep posting and join in.

Cheers

Harry

Thanks!

I started off modelling my songs after Roger Waters and Alanis Morisette (her 2nd album) but ultimately I just decided to do what the songs told me to do.

Velvet Underground and Leonard Cohen are super-respectable!

That's cool!

Thanks!

Welcome aboard! Sounds like you're enjoying the BR!   :)

I got Leonard Cohen from this too. Nice guitar tone and a good, straightforward delivery.

p.s. Aftermathematics I was often sent to the headmaster for messing around in class  :D

Witchita I figured it out.
I use a chromatic tuner and the "Pitch" was set at 440 Hz.  I have no idea what the standard / default setting should be, and I have never played with this setting, but if I change it that changes the tuning.

So I guess my E was not an E after all.

Curse these meager contrivances!

great atmosphere in that song, nice picking too
