Choosing between BR-800 and Zoom R-24 - comments welcomed

Don't think so ... standalone doesn't seem to be their direction.  I was thinking
about the BR1600 a while ago but I believe it will eventually disappear like the
rest of the hard drives ... I was holding out for a Zoom MRS 24 track version too
but instead the 16 track hard drive got discontinued instead ... they had some nice
functions including "Scenes" where you could save all the mixer and track settings
and invoke them at markers during playback/mastering.
