Rhythm Editor for Windows 7 64-bit

I was under the impression that current Rhythm Editor for the Boss BR-600 won't run on Windows 7 64-bit.  I emailed Roland and received the response below.  What am I missing?  I tried to install it on my machine and the installation never starts.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hello Ken,

32 bit apps run fine on 64 bit Windows. You can use the existing Rhythm Editor.

scroll down and there is advice re 64bit windows 7. and i think may provide you with some answers to your problem.
