This is utterly superb

I love it.

The whole track just does it for me - and I rarely listen to much metal nowadays. A brilliant doom-laden vibe throughout, with a decent song and the "musical interest" to keep me going all the way through. Many many thanks for posting this.

As for details:

The lead is just fabulous. Excellent, excellent playing. I'm not a big judge of metal stuff, but I knows what I likes... Even though I'm a guitarist myself, what I likes is guitar playing that makes "non-guitarists" who get bored by "widdling" go "hey, I like that..." - You've done it here...

Arrangement-wise, and how the guitar fits, I love the little plicky part under the vocal around 4:30 or so.

And the use of slides and whammy on the solos and breaks - so effective and, well, tasteful (), I imagine it's tempting to use it too much!

Vocal - yess! I was satisifed with the intro already, and wondering whether it was all instrumental... and then the right (for me) voice came in.

Really good job - SPOT ON!

Kickin' A' all the way on this one!  Killer drums and gtr tones/playing = just smokin throughout! 

Ending got chopped however?  I expected a long sustain end chord/crash.  Maybe chopped on purpose for effect?  Either way, great stuff!
