Hi Guys ;D ;D
Here is a Song that my brother Mark and I finished Last week. He is on Drums Once More!
Its called- Bloodline By Design. Some Heavy Guitars once More.
The Lyrics of this song were inspired by Watching a 7 y/o boy playing Call of Duty- Black Ops. (Playstation 3 Game) in the Mall and listening to him yelling to his Spaced out Mom that if Santa doesn't get him this game for Christmas, that he will blow up the North Pole.

The Concept of the song is how young kids today are Desensitized to violence due to the 18 and over video Games that their Parents buy them.

Lyrics- Bloodline by Design-

Excerpts deep within are about to begin, Oh No!

Excessive celebration, Worldwide Altercation.
A systematic form of interrogation, No!
How far will it go? I know, Jump high, Lay low.

Revise, the Times, subside, Let go!
Devise, surprise, DEMISE, Oh No!
Where will we go? We Know, cause THE MAN said so.

Looking for protection on a road with no direction
Eternal Salvation rivals Realization. No!
Where will we go? We Know, Jump high, Lay Low.

Revise, the Times, subside, Let go!
Devise, surprise, DEMISE, Oh No!
How far will it go? We Know, Jump high, Lay low.

Hybrid delegation, Linear preparation.
It's a Problematic form of VIOLATION, No!
How far will it go? THEY know, Jump high, Lay low.

i like this. i also like the story, i picture the kid as the little turd on the new Willy Wonka movie that played video games. i'm sure mommy will be buying this Christmas.
Okay to cover.

Hi Jim, another great collab with your brother and the heavy beat captures the feeling of the lyrics which I find rather sad given the explanation. This is a first rate song that has everything, playing, production, lyrics and meaning............Willie

Merry Xmas to you and yours.

Deadly song Jim!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! One of your best, I really like the heavy yet really grooving guitar rhythm there.  Great sound to the vocals.  Your Bro is a good drummer, great timing.  I seriously love your message.  Just in time for Christmas and all the gifts coming up.  You two got it going on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fantastic guitar playing Jim.  You ever use that Mustang I amp for recording yet?  I am getting close to getting one myself, I want to ust it for recording.

Jim, excellent idea for a song and great lyrics, really powerful. I love this heavy feel here, the guitar work is superb and it meshes with the drums so well. Lots of interesting changes and riffs that really grab the attention throughout. You two are working very well together, this is another great track.

I like the effect on the vocal - it is a bit overpowering but I think it works. One idea you might like to try is to copy your vocal track, have a plain vocal with no effect mixed at C00 and then blend it with the copy vocal to which you apply the stereo panning effect. That way you get the cool effect but you give the listener a bit more of a hook for the vocal.

Cheers,

Nigel

Thanks Guys!!!

I thought about putting in a Clean Vocal track with the dirty one.
I didn't like how it sounded. I guess i am not a fan of my own vocals.
DAVE, I read that you bought the Mustang amp!! COOL!
I haven't recorded with it yet. maybe after the Holidays!!
Merry Christmas!
