The recorder I used on this was Ableton Live 8 Suite and all the guitars and bass were through a Native Instruments plug in called guitar rig 4 which I am using for most of my stuff now. I'm really impressed with Ableton its got lots of great plugins built in and although I was a protools user I have now switched.

Ferryman - the backing vocals are actually my wife - it's great on the odd occasions when I can get her to do them for me
