"Gje meg handa di" Norwegian lullaby based on an Irish trad song

Kumale asked for some lullabys a good while ago, and I thought it was about time to deliver. When I first heard this, I thought it was an traditional Norwegian song. Some reseach today revealed that it's actually a Norwegian version of an trad Irish song ("Down by the Salley Gardens").

Anyway here it is. Live recording using only the Behringer B2 pro mic and the white Jasmine acoustic guitar. Mono recording of this LitL ("live in the livingroom" ... we should put that in the glossary) take.

yep down by the Sally Gardens it isand a well worn Irish ballad it is too
 but it sounds so lovely in Norwegian
and a class version yours is too

I was about to fire up the new PRS and rip off some killer riffs, now I think I'm going to pick up the classical instead. Beautiful Geir, the vocal delivery is so heartfelt. I loved that acoustic work.
