had a wee bit of time on the juno di and just messed about with very simple stuff before i knew it i was up to the v6 tracks on my mbr and still no drums, so played drums on juno to v7 tracks, i know drums last and as the met guys can confirm keeping time isnt my greatest forte so once drums where done i had no idea what to sing, so went to store for a beer and it was snowing very heavily and the roads where very slippy, i walked by the way.

He called her on the telephone
Said he'd see her soon
It won't be long
Till he's back home

Do do do do do do...........

He couldn't see where he was going
Through the snow
Nothing was moving
Everything was going slow

Do do do do do do...........

At last he was on his way
Squeezed through a bit of space
It won't be long
Till he's back home

Do do do do do do...........

She called on her telephone
Straight to his answerphone
She hoped it won't be long
Till he's back home

Do do do do do do...........

He must have braked too hard
He didn't stand a chance
He lost complete control
She hoped it won't be long
Till he gets home

Do do do do do do...........

Great atmospheric piece, a bit too close to home for me, been caught in snow and sliding in ice for the last two weeks, like the rest of us, start tomorrow at five thirty, loved it all the same.

this song makes me feel like crying, I have just put our christmas tree up, all decorated, had a few beer along the way, and now I find this song, and I feel like a good cry over here.  You captured something of the sadness that lingers behind the pasted on smiles at this time of year and for that I applaud, through my tears, your vision here.  Great bit of feeling out a story here.  Your muse is close by tonight.

I'm so glad I've got the 4WD, cause the snow and ice has been heavy here too !

Atmospheric indeed and I can almost see you walking there in the snow !!

Great tune James

Another uplifting Juno song. I think the drums are off a bit in some areas  but it fits for the song. Imperfection is perfection in my books. Nice one Jim!!

Nice one Jim. Your words and expressions are never ending and will live forever.
Why don't we do it on the road?

Wow - the story is so brilliantly told in both lyric and music. Hypnotic, made even more so by the tapping of the drum. The "do do dos" are a nice touch.
