I have a book of fifty of these tunes by the same composer. They are all little gems. If anyone wants to hear some more, I'd love to record some more. Best wishes for christmas everyone!

Halem

Impressive playing indeed.  I read that you took lessons from Juan Martin in some thread, i always start learning new palo with his video school, wonder how cool that'd be to learn from him directly. :o

THanks again to everyone for the encouraging comments. I will put some more of this composer's tunes on here. I think they are all gems of spanish music.

Thanks Halem, I had lessons with Juan Martin in the 70's. He lived in Finsbury park at the time and I went after work in London. I had to have lessons from him after hearing his record ' The Exciting sound of Flamenco' that my dad got out the library. He advertised in guitar magazine at the time and I just rang him up. I've had loads of teachers over the years, including Gary Ryan - the bees knees of classical guitar! I'm now having lessons with the best rock and jazz guitarist I've ever heard. His knowledge of music theory is staggering and he is responsible for making me see how there's so much more to music than simply reading the dots - which is all I did for years and years!
