This song is from the archives.  It was written and recorded in 2001 and appeared on the Subterranean Christmas Vol.III CD which was a compilation by members at the old RecordingWebsite.  Re-mastered last week on the M-BR.

Thanks for listening and Merry Christmas!

These days I merely dabble at being old and wise.
But I swear, I used to absolutely excel at being young and stupid.

As I've expereinced that I end up downloading your songs everytime, this was a download first and then listen!! :)

And it's a keeper. Really a beautiful melody and fabulous performance and production as usual. A real treat. On my second listen already.

Wow, hooper - what a great song! Love the backwards bits and the Beatley flavor it has.

And there's a lot going on here! Downloading this for further study...  8)

I knew this would be a joy, and it is. Nice to see a Hooper posting and as always it's a real pleasure - great song, superb composition, lovely playing and stellar production. Love that backward thing, whatever it is, and the clear and precise production. But overall it's just a really lovely piece of music, excellent, execllent stuff.

Cheers,

Sure does sound like a lost Beatles recording, pro all the way. Nice work, vox, and beautiful song.

I must download songs as I cannot listen to them otherwise, but I definitely would have downloaded this song anyway. Great songwriting, and a lovely voice. Thanks for sharing!
