I really enjoyed the rhythms of the guitar and the piano on top was really cool how it matched up, but it seemed to be competing with the guitar as it went. But then it settled nicely into a complete whole. Man that panning on the keys is something else. If I focus on it then it becomes a bit obvious, but if I listen as a fan (and not a songwriter analyzing it) it works perfectly.

yeah I can't do this type of stuff and it's simply amazing that you put it together so well. Nicely done.

Simply wonderful Tommy,  I will take this as an early Xmas present. Your piano playing and production skills are top notch here and of course the guitar playing is awesome. It;s a great composition as well! Loved every minute of it.

Cheers,

Nigel

The textural contrast between the 'clean' piano piano and the 'dirty' guitar creates a really interesting contrast.... and helps make it possible to hear both parts very clearly.
And of course, great shredding!

These days I merely dabble at being old and wise.
But I swear, I used to absolutely excel at being young and stupid.

Wow, real virtuoso playing here, Tommy!

I don't think I've ever heard such a combination of ivory-tickling with fretboard-burning before, but you've done it!   8)

That's pretty bloody impressive.

I came in because "a metal/piano instro" intrigued me. I was a big Queen fan, especially the 70s stuff, so the idea of grand piano and bass, with rock guitar and drums just makes perfect sense to me.

There's some superb playing here. Nice one :)
