Well... Wrote lyrics and added the vox for the instrumental song I wrote here

Was harder than I thought. I kept trying to force a melody of what I thought it SHOULD sound like rather than to just allow the melody to come out on its own. So in the end, the song won out.

Style-wise, I think this is pretty different for me, so we'll see how this goes.

"So in the end, the song won out."  You are damn right there man, flipping deadly.  Your vocal weaves along perfectly with the backing music.  Its like hard-rocking soul music.  Damn fine (i can;t stop using the word damn here, I like this so much).  Right out of the park man, outer space bound.
