Here's my stab at "Wish You Were Here" (guess every guitarist eventually does a version, right?).  I'm okay with guitars.  My vocals are exceptionally poor on a good day!  But if you like the instrumental parts, I could probably cut you a demo of that to play around with.  Too bad we must work for livings!

This is brilliant. Your playing skill and touch are incredible. If someone said 'compare this with Dave Gilmour', I wouldn't know the difference! I don't know why you're worried about your vocals - they work really well here - exactly the right vocal tone. Not sure I could improve on this one very much! How about 'Breathe' or 'Time' though???

It's a totally straight delivery of the vocal... as true to Lennon's beautiful simplicity as I could get, and absolutely no f*cking around or liberties taken.

I'm really happy with it. When something is played as beautifully as this it's just a pleasure to sing over.

Even my 8 year old son approves of this! And he's a Beatles fanatic, so I guess we got it right

Hah!  My vocals are better suited for instrumentals . 

I still am trying to stumble through the effects.  I need to figure a way to really pump compression to the vocals (maybe supression more like it). 

I appreciate the kind words.  Can't believe I even posted the Floyd tune.  Regretted it as soon as I hit the "post" button.  This site has really helped my interest and enthusiasm for learning to use the BR.  Also, I can't help but believe this is what the internet should be used for.  Thanks.
