Love it!

I noticed the title when I was viewing who's online... and I thought I just have to hear how this has been attempted.

For my money, there's only two ways a chap can go when he decides to sing this song... and the second of these ways a chap probably wouldn't post for general consumption...

Almost unbelievably, you've gone for the second way... and it works!!! I'm so glad you posted it.

Those backing vocals are excellent, but the whole thing stands on your lead vocal. Excellent job.

And, er, what timing issues? I didn't spot any, but mebbe I was just enjoying it too much to notice :D

WOW Nick what a great job. I'm not a fan of canned, perfect music. Your song is real, touching and very beautiful. Thanks for the listen and a new gem for my I-Pod....Ted

Beautiful Nick.  Just beautiful.

You know, when you told me a little while ago that you were going to do this I thought "If only I had the time to offer to orchestrate it."  Now I've heard this it's clear that it needs nothing.

Whatever I could have added to this would actually have subtracted - big style.

What does the nipper think of it?  I'm certain that she will love it when she's old enough to understand.

...Not so sure Paul......
My guitar playing is a bit fingers and thumbs.. even thou this was a bit of a strumming exercise. It was also a bit of rush job as i don't have so much time either these days, but i was happy with the vox:)
I willl try and deal with the (guitar) timing issues to make it more repectable and pro like:)

I can hear your orchestration now Paul (in my head) adding to what is, quite a touching tune in all it's simplicity:)

Cheers Guvners..
