This started as an impromptu jam with our singer sort of scatting the lyrics to "Gentle on My Mind" by Glen Campbell (actually, John Hartford). Although the vocal version has its quirky charm, I wanted to see how it would stand as an instrumental jam. I admit to liking some of the dynamics in here.

I overdubbed the obnoxious bass (our bassist was wrestling with a Pod for the bulk of the jam) and Kaossilator.

Peace.

By the by, I still think this is one of the funniest things I've ever seen.

Man, I love this! And judging from some of your songs posted (Allmans, Feat, Dead) seems like we have similar music tastes. This has a head-bopping Phish-iness to it. Great spacey lead, cool synth runs. Might be my fave of all the good songs I've heard since I joined this fine community.

mr2kewl

i'm hearin a "Dickey Betts" feel outta you licks on this cut.

superb playing!!

;)  Oh yes Blooby the dynamics were to die for in this!!!  That makes as much of a song as anything.  And some real killer licks.  I loved the whole thing!!   ;) ;)

Brilliant, indeed great jamming and I really enjoyed it. Sometimes these things can be a bit self indulgent but this grooved well and had a great feel to it, it was interesting all the way through and drew me right in. Superb guitar and bass playing and loved the Kaossilator additions.

Superb. Makes me think I should practice more so I could do that kind of thing.

Cheers,

Nigel
