Here's a new original song of mine. It's a bit of a string-fest, with a telecaster, 12-string acoustic, and a mandolin all putting in an appearance. It's the first bit of mandolin I've played in a while, but it felt right to put it on this one (it even has a simple mandolin 'solo' on it  :D). I went over 4 tracks for once too.

There is also a sample at the start: from a track on The Glove's 'Blue Sunshine' (Robert Smith and Steve Severin's psychedelic side project from the early 80's).

Very nice Mix, clean and clear, and a nice melody. well done :) The mandolin fills it in very nicely with the 12 string.

... and if anyone wants to add some bass, feel free!  :)

Got bassmans block.

here's one I heard recently,

Q - what does a bassist use for contraception?

A - his personality...

I just walked away.

Wish I could play bass... I'd be glad to jump in on this one. I Like this a lot. Constructively... some of the vocs tend to get a little muddled. I think when you go into the harmonies if you could tighten that up a bit it will make the song pop. I absolutely love your lyrical ability and singing. As always you... You Rock TOP.

It'll sound great whether it's in London or Spain - and worth waiting for! Hope you're having a great trip  :)

Man that was great. You really know how to put things together on the BR.
Why don't we do it on the road?

Thanks guys. I had fun with this one. And it reminded me what I like about the mandolin.  :)
