How Are You "Holding" the Micro BR During Use?

I really enjoy the Micro BR but usually have a panic attack when I use it due to it moving around so easily.  Once you get your guitar cable in there, it wants to control it...not to mention the headphones and power cord.

So I am wondering if anyone has some creative ways of "holding" it while using it?  It would be nice if it came with a little stand or something to stabilize it.

Any thoughts / comments?

Thanks.

I got the Micro BR 'condom' - it minimizes handling noise and adds enough friction to keep the MBR from slipping on any smooth surfaces.

I ask my butler to hold it.

Ever since my French maid stormed out.

Ok I'm the peanut gallery today.

I have one of Ted's holders. I almost never take it off the MBR. When I have the MBR sitting on a desk, the holder keeps it turned upright so I can see everything without crawling around the desk.

I went to the dollar store and picked up velcro and stuck the one side on the back of the Mbr and stuck the other half  to my dresser in my room and to the tile wall in the bathroom making sure its in a great spot to be comfortable and lined up to get a great acoustic recording with the condenser mic.

For vocals i hold it in my hand and put a small sock over the mic end of it and try to stay still when singing, not to make unnecessary noise. I also use the AB punch in when singing. That way you won`t get that annoying record button hitting noise and have less to clean up in the track later.

I guess all i can say is everyone uses it differently and the more you practice, the more you will get better at it.

I'm afraid to ask where your other sock is Eric.

It`s actually my daughters sock. Those kid socks  fit snug on the Mbr.
