I was looking at all of the amp/spkr models and effects available in the Micro BR and wondered if there were any that aren't used in any of the preset patches (there are). So I collected some usage data for the 78 GT bank preset patches that use the COSM GTR AMP algorithm.

   Preamp            Speaker Sim      FX                   Delay
   MS(2):     0      bg stk:   0      Pan-Sqr:      1      Tap:      7
   BLUES:     1      SMALL:    0      Tremolo-Tri:  1      Off:     22
   MS(1+2):   2      MIDDLE:   1      Tremolo-Sqr:  2      Single:  49
   Off:       2      vo drv:   1      Pan-Tri:      4
   MATCH:     4      ms stk:   1      Phaser:       4
   VO DRV:    4      JC-120:   3      Flanger:      5
   BG LEAD:   4      twin:     3      Compressor:  16
   MS(1):     5      match:    3      Off:         22
   METAL:     5      BG STK:   4      Chorus:      23
   JC-120:    9      VO DRV:   4
   SLDN:      9      Off:      3
   CRUNCH:   10      TWIN:     9
   METAL D:  11      MATCH:   12
   CLEAN:    12      MS STK:  13
                     METAL:   21

The numbers in the chart indicate the count of COSM GTR AMP preset patches that use the corresonding amp/spkr model, FX, or Delay type. For example, there are no presets that use the MS(2) amp model, 5 presets that use the Flanger FX, and 22 presets that have the delay switched off.

Then I thought it might be interesting to see what new patches Micro BR users here can come up with using the least-used amp/spkr models and effects from the usage chart above. The best example would be to create a patch with the MS(2) amp, bg stk or SMALL speaker sim, Pan-sqr or Trm-Tri FX, and Tap Delay. But you don't have to use the absolute least-used in each category. For example, you might try the BLUES amp with the JC-120 speaker sim, phaser FX, and no delay.

In any case, I think this approach should create some unique patches since there'd be nothing similar in the preset patches.

Anyone want to have a go?

Post your patches in this message thread as plain text using Micro BR Patch Documenter to get the settings. If you like, you can attach an MP3 sample of your patch too, although that isn't required.
