I was playing around with different settings on the train this morning and came up with this computerized effect for vocals. I like the effect like this where it is not too abstract, but if are looking for a more twisted broken computer sound, pump up the rate from 52, to 85-100.

settings:

AMP:  JC-120
Vol:  42
Bass:  55
Mid:  55
Treble:  65
Pres:  40
Master:  95
Bright:  Off

SPEAKER:  VO DRV
Mic Set:  4 cm
Mic Level:  100
Dir Level:  0

NS:  ON
Threshold:  30
Release:  30

FX:  Chorus
rate: 52
Depth 100
e.level: 100

;D  There were other passengers, but they are the same people I see each day on my morning commute.  I think they have gotten used to "that strange fellow who is always humming or whistling into that shinny silver box"

Oldrottenhead

i often get strange looks in the park doing the very same thing, especially if i am working on a lyric, think i'll get some spock ears made and really freak the dog walkers.

Cool effect, kinda reminds me of some old sabbath.
