I second that! I enjoyed this very much.  :)

thanks everyone for the comments...powerpop's right up my alley...Blue Oyster Cult I'm a big fan of, so listening back that's in there for sure!  Wanted to try something a little more somber than my normal happy tunes...thanks again! :)

Okay to cover...not sure why you'd want to though...

I like the driving beat as well, but I would love some variety (not at first, though).

I really like where the rhythm guitars sit in the mix (solo could be pushed a tad).  I think many of us (certainly myself) have a habit of bumping them too much in the mix. The way your vocals sit on the bed of guitars is just great.

I never really listened to Tin Machine, but this is kind of what I imagined.  The Bowieish voice over more modern guitars.

Very cool.

Thanks Blooby!  The drums i will hopefully start experimenting with after Christmas...mix it up a little...Tin Machine eh?  Hmmm...not a fan, but I do like Bowie, and for better or worse, that's the voice I'm stuck with...glad you liked it! :)

This is really a good song so much to like, vox and guitars really sound great together, the only thing I would change and this is only a personal point of view is the drums, I,d bring them lower in the mix and maybe change the drum kit, don,t know which one, but I,d try them all to see what fits, other that that I really enjoyed this tune, great work.

Brilliant - love those guitar sounds, I am a sucker for the 80s wall of noise guitars, and I love the melodic lead line at the end. Great sounding song and very well played and recorded.

Cheers,

Thanks again everyone!  Nigel, glad you liked the lead at the end...that's what I ended up taking the vocal melody from! :)
