I posted this earlier as a YouTube video and thought I would post it as an audio file.  Hope it works and sounds better. I'm still an idiot when it comes to converting files to compatible formats.

Anyway, this is just a fun little southern rock thing I wrote for my wife on our anniversary.

okay to cover.

Okay, apparently I truly am an idiot.  Instead of an mp3 it's a mp4 posted at the bottom of the post.  It should still open up in itunes, though.  Sorry for the confusion.

Hey Rick
I remember this from YouTube and it still sounds great.
Outstanding musicianship and musical arrangement.
Cool vocal delivery and I love the sentiment of the lyrics.
Well done ... you lucky son of a gun, you.  :D

He's not the messiah he's a very naughty boy!

Nasty guitars, drivin' groove. A good summer-night-in-the-car-just-cruisin' song.

Thats a great strat sound there.  I like your style man, smooth and rocking, deadly recording here.  It all sounds so good man.  this really sounds good.  How did you record this Rick, what is your recording set-up, it sounds really good.

Alternate Tunings: CAUTION: your fingers have to be in different places

A nice foot-tapper with great vocals. Just the right music for a Sunday morning. :)

Thanks for the comments and encouragement everyone!

Bluesberry, everything was done on the BR600.  I used patch GTR65 for the heavy rhythm guitar, GTR24 for the lead, and a modified version of GTR62 for the clean rhythm. For the vocals I sang through a Sure SM57 mic, just because I don't own a 58.
