I wanted to do something epic for my 3000th post, but this is what you get. All of my love - Led Zeppelin (instrumental).

I bought a keyboard in late October, never touched keys before. I started working on this song in early November, trying to learn the keys. Fundamentally I tried to stay accurate to the original, learning quite a bit of this by ear (not my strong suit). When it came time to lay down some lead, I was ready to have some fun with the piece, so I didn't learn the original note for note.

I asked Tafka to join me with some flavor.

To think that 20 months ago, I couldn't strum a guitar. I owe you good people a debt of gratitude for nurturing me into becoming a musician.

Thank you alll!

Congratulations on 3000.  If this is a milestone then it is a huge one.  A fully realized, orchestrated, multi layered synth and guitar instrumental.  It is as huge as it gets.  And it sounds wickedly good guys.
