Another awesome tune SE. Your vocals are always amazing to me. You have your own syle and sound. Great production as well. Wow alot of great tunes on here lately.

That`s right and you don`t want his class. Axl has no class, and he should be in front of a firing squad with Slash being able to shoot ;D

sounds great. Certainly better with the vocals up in the mix. This has a bit of a style council vibe?? or somthing like it? Vocals sound really cool. Keep the cold :-)

Yea, i'm not a fan either , but he can sing pretty good. He's done some real loser behaviour.
John, I should not have brought his name up, but you got a great sound here.

The second mix is loads better! :)

Background: I've got a vague cold and sinus/ear problems at the moment, and really I ought to be listening to laid back stuff... :D

So I'm listening to the first mix (headphones) and I'm a bit "ouch" on the brass parts etc... I'm reading the comments thinking "what can they hear that I can't?". I nearly left without leaving a comment... but I thought I'd give the second mix a chance...

YES!! Love it.

The vocal and backing vocals are fine, mighty fine, but I couldn't really lock on to them on the first mix... it's not quite the kind of groove I go for, so my ears were searching around for something vaguely familiar to get into, and I was failing. But with the vox turned up, they're the glue that holds it all together. They are the song. The groove and backing is important, very important for the vibe etc, but not if they're more in the spotlight than the song itself.

I'm guessing that people more familiar or at home with the style of the backing would have heard the song anyway... but it just kinda shows how difficult it is to get a mix right...

Interesting, eh? (Or maybe it's just me ::), and what I really need is a honey and lemon and my duvet! :D)

Nice work.

Like it.  Something about the rhythm of both the music and vocals grabs me.  Wait, is it a kind of disco feel?  Whatever it is, it's working for me!
