This one is for Bluesberry, my mentor and biggest fan.

I almost have the sound I am looking for with this one.
The cymbals are too hot and it somehow gets out of sync at the end.

But overall, the vibe is right.

Just bass, drums and vocals.

Enjoy.

Deadly stuff Fuzz, really well done.  That bass is recorded really well, bouncing around in my brain, coming at me from both sides.  Great vocals.  Is this all bass or is there a bit of E-guitar in there.  You could take tout and play it live to great effect, just you and your bass and microBR drums.  Fantastic.  Nice avatar, it makes me think of sunnier days in the summer, now that winter is officially here again (we finally got snow on the weekend here).

It's all bass.  The high notes are harmonics on the G string.  The two clean rhythm tracks are panned extreme L and R, the distorted bass and drums are dead center, and the two vocal tracks are spaced out just a little bit L and R.

I need to learn to program drums next.  All my drumming so far has been done using sticks.

Yes we got snow here too.  Makes me want to stay inside and record.  The picture is from the one and only time I street-performed.  I acquired the ability to block out distractions, and made 12 bucks.

Way-out bass work, man! I think the hot cymbal sound works...reminds me of the spray-can cymbals in 'She's Lost Control'. Cool cover, definitely in the spirit of the song.

Very cool cover !   Dig that bass, man!

I remember doing a bar gig for about 12 bucks or so (once you divided it between 4 guys), but they gave the band free beer :~)

You got the spirit of the track pretty good there, err FuzzFace.  Sounds like the bass and vocal were both recorded in the one same take?

This is another one for my iPod, reckon...

Joy Division-fest anyone?

Great vocals Trevor, really good work. Love the dual bass idea, great bass sounds btw! Great vibe and I love the drums as well - very Joy Division.

Nice job!

Cheers,

Nigel
