Satchwood's "The KEY" (to it all?)

Started by Satchwood, November 28, 2010, 05:06:18 PM

Hi Satch, I always expect the guitar work to be excellent but this time I think you've excelled yourself with a triple whammy. The vox, the music and the production not forgetting the actual song which is second to none. Supurb...........Willie

Tommy, I could praise all that is good here, which is everything, but I want to single out your vocals. You have made some huge strides vocally. The backing vox is a delight to hear. It really adds to the song.

Okay to cover...not sure why you'd want to though...

I like what you've done with the production here, the rhythym guitars sound really good, nice a punchy without overwhelming the rest of the track. Which is good, because there's a lot going on and it needs space. Reallly like the chord sequence of the verse and the guitar solos of course. Excellent song, the vox are very good (although there's perhaps a tad of uncertainty in some of the backing vox with the pitch, nothing major but might be worth tweaking if you felt like it). But the overall production really makes this sound incredibly polished, very nice job Tommy!

Cheers,

Nigel

A real metal journey - and I don't mean the group Journey - this kicks their asses into another dimension. Getting a bit of an Amboy Dukes vibe from this, back in their brief acid rock phase. Amazing fretwork, Tommy and I dig the vox!

Good song Tommy, drums sound good, vocals with vibrato, fun guitar work.
My favorite of yours will always be "See in me", but this ranks up there with the best of 'em.
Very cool music.
