New case for Micro BR announced at WNAMM 2008

Oh, and the reason I needed to enlarge the mic hole was because the stereo plug on the mic I'm using (Core Sound Binaurals ) was just a bit larger than the hole in the case....

They show a leather case, but ship the silicone case.

And it's $ 14.00

It's funny that they show the wrong case :) I wonder how many people expect the one shown...

Mine does not have the shiny silver finish any more, maybe I should have got one of these... My worry is that the buttons are potchy enough as it is, will a case make them worse.

THat's strange that the mirror finish is gone as it's under the clear plastic. Maybe now it is even better to get the silicone case as it will protect it in any case, and it will obscure the lack of finish anyway. (that along with a Nintendo DS Lite type case which seems to seems to fit it perfectly)

It's well used now  ;) Finish has worn through in many places, sweaty fingers I guess. What the hell, still works fine and matches my jeans, lol!

is that right maybe a Nintendo case is the way to go if it's cheaper

Yes a Nintendo DS\Lite case should do fine. It fits mine like a glove even with the silicone case on it. I can also hold ear buds and extra batteries in it. I got a generic case at Radioshack without the Nintendo Logo.

I also used a spare strap from a Wii controller for the Micro BR.
