I have one of these for my IPOD and to be sure, I will purchase this for the Micro BR as well.  Looking forward to trying out the patch editor that was just listed and sharing patches with you all.

Ahaha, very cool! Now Micro BR can be used in Sci-fi movies as well.

Serious, that looks cool, are the buttons still pressable? They must be, I guess.

This is cool, anyone know what the list price is?

I saw some leather/plastic case for the microBR being sold on a few sites, but it was around 50$!I just assume make one myself at that price.

I would like to get something along these lines though, I am pretty paranoid about dropping mine as I tend to get clumsy with headphone cables etc.

All I can find so far is the Japanese price which is 2100 yen. That's about $20 US, £10 GBP, or 13 Euros at today's exchange rate.

I found it at a NJ store called Samedaymusic.com it was the cheapest price 17.00 and 4.00 ground shipping. They also had the psa for 19.00. I ordered it yesterday, and should ups shows it as being out for delivery today! :)

I will post a short review after I get it and put it on.

I found it at Musicians Friend for $ 14.99 (I think that's what it was.)

It fits great.

Although I did have to enlarge the hole for the external mic..........

uhm, that's strange, I could have sworn that Musician's friend had it for more than that.

I got mine from sameday music and the microphone hole was perfect.

As promissed, here is my mini review on the Silicone case.

First of all, if you want protection this will definetely protect most of the unit all except the display itself.

It fits like a glove, and aesthetically aside from the fact that you can barely see the writing on the buttons due to the opaque color of the silicone, it is a nice piece of work.

I like the indentations for all the control button areas. IT's cut very nice and fits perfectly. It gives the Micro BR a good rugged feel\appearance so obviously you will not get the mirror look anymore.

On the negative side of things, Every bit of lint, dog\cat hair etc tends to stick to it (like with other silicone cases for the Ipod). YOu can take these off patiently or use a bit of scotch tape to lift them of. Not a big deal considering the protection it provides.

I also wish it came on a clear silicone color instead of an opaque white. IT would have been nicer to have a transparent one and this way you could see the original mirror finish. In fact it could even protect the display screen.

Last of all, it's a bit of a pain to take off. Since you have to pull it off carefully, and if you have a strap attached (I used a spare from the Nintendo wii controllers) you will have to take that off. Still once it's on there is no reason to take it off since the battery\memory compartment is accessible.

All in all it's a great case and at a reasonable price. That is if you want true rugged protection, at the expense of not having the mirror finish.

On a side note, I cut a piece of transparent screen protection film that I use for my Palm|TX, to protect the display area.

And I also had found a generic case for Nintnedo DS Lites at Radioshack on a closeout which fits the Micro BR including the silicone case perfectly. So that's where it's kept when not in use.

Hope this helps in your decision to buy this case. :)

Here is a link to the Musicians Friend page if anyone is interested.

They show a leather case, but ship the silicone case.

And it's $ 14.00
