EUB sounds like the perfect GAS medicine

I dunno - it's got a bit of learning curve and possible wrist strain injuries if I don't do it properly...

But everything I've recorded in the last 9 months, and everything I want to record at the moment... all of them could have done with or could do with an upright bass...

One problem with an upright bass for me (except the obvious ..... actually learning to play it) would be that the budget for strings would be even more strained (I have somewhere beween 80 and 100 strings I on my maintanence scheme now). Those are rather price strings eh?

I'm zeroing in on a PRS Custom 24...... but a 513 looks nice, but I like 24 fret guitars.

Knowing how pathetic it is to quote oneself....... I played both the 513 and Custom 24. Hands down the 513 was the guitar for me.

Note: the grain and color are much nicer than this picture, also the seam of the 2 body parts not as obvious.

The one you have in the picture Geir, shows the correct hardware. Put that hardware on the body and color of the one I posted, and we have the real deal. You have the tiger maple, Mine's a quilted Maple.
