I had to change the words because Courtney Love could have been my sister or my mother or my daughter or my woman.

Or my brother.

True love.

:::EDIT:::

Here is a remaster to fix my mistake... I overwrote my v2 tracks by leaving the default destination tracks in mastering mode.

This one is a lot more balanced.

I like your avatar Fuzz.  I am really digging these explorations of yours.  Your vocals are damn fine on these.  This vocals is perhaps a little too hot, clipping a bit, but what a damn performance man, on fire comes to mind.  I really admire how you pour yourself 100% into everything you do, you are an intense dude fuzz.  How about a cover of Joy division in your explorations?  Shadowplay would work well with this bass and drums only treatment, so would Interzone or Disorder.  I guess what I am saying is I would love to hear you take on Joy Division with this method of yours.

This went bad during the mastering process. It sounded better before I output it as an MP3.  Have to try this again.  There seem to be ghosts of alternate virtual tracks present for some reason as well.

Hmm... I'll give it a think.

I fixed the mix on this song and replaced the attachment.

I didn;t know this one either but loved it. Your vocals are really coming on very well - they sound great here and you sound very confident, the combo of clean and distrted vox is great as well. Initially I thought the mix was odd with the drums off to one side but I got into it and it works. Great fuzzy bass sound as well, very well done sir.

Cheers,

Nigel

Thanks, I had fun with this.  I have always loved this song for it's intensity.
I'm still a novice at mixing but this sounded alright to me so I went with it.

OTD bump from off of the OTD jukebox.

Wasn't around when this was first posted, glad I caught it on the OTD.

Haven't heard this before...liked the post grunge feel! Did you play your Yamaha drum pad? If so, well played...
