very early posts were so unique to you, and very refreshing too

I put off doing covers as long as I could, and then went on a rampage back in the fall.

Ideally though, I will strike somewhere in between my early posts and these covers, with the originals I am working on now.

I'm taking my time this time, as opposed to my previous stuff which was mostly a product of a mad fit of energy.

Anyway, thanks for listening!

Hahaha, thats right, man that was crazy...how many songs did you write/record/post in that first mad frenzie...20 in a couple of weeks wasn't it.  I am glad to hear that you are taking a bit more time because your quality is really high with these last ones.  Its a hard balance to strike, pure inspiration on one side, careful craft on the other.  If a persong goes too far in either direction it is not as good as it could have been otherwise...the right amount of each side and it is gold.

Nice cover, but I think your bass lacks... bass. The lower harmonics "fill" a lot more the sound than the high frequencies.

If you decide not to have guitars (perfectly fine for me), you won't get full chords, and perhaps you should add a more bassier bass to bring a more rich sound overall. You will eventualy find the right balance with high and low freq.

Then there are effects... there is a whole world out there! I'm actually "greeding" the boss bass synth and an octaver... :-)

here's a bad example because of the sax, but in morphine, the bass is replacing completely the guitar.

This is some good feedback.  I don't know enough about this field... I need to play around with the settings a bit more.

I have a few more bass-only originals in the works and want to get it right.

There are a lot of frequencies/harmonics? spinning off that bass so it seems fuller than it should.

Don't know the song, but this line is worth pursuing.  I like.
