Hi - Thanks for your lovely comments - you are so inspiring - I will be back  - it's only work and family commitments.
I live in Spain and my father, children, and grandchildren (including twins) need a visit in my homeland of England.
I should be able to log in to hear all the music and comment - so I will see you all soon.

This is a fantastic song, performance and recording. I wouldn't call this Alt. anything but would definitely call this a beautifully crafted song. It would sit well on this album of beautifully crafted songs:

Bluesberry

Message to the assembled thread readers: Sorry if my use of the dreaded Alt work has offended you, I will apologize (as a Canadian) by saying that I am sorry for offending your sensibilities.  I will refrain from using the dreaded Alt term in future, it is overused, overrated, overblown and just does not convey any sense of meaning or meaningful sentiment other than to say that that Bluesberry guy doesn't know his Alt from his armpit.  As a Canadian I am deeply offended that I fell into the trap of commercial genre pidgenholeing.  That over with...now then back to this great song...

PS, you really wouldn't call this Alt anything Sandy, really...maybe I have been stuck on the east coast too long, I am no longer hip to the scene...and I thought I was getting Jiggly with it and all that...really, no Alt here?

PPS: not to hijack this beautiful song thread, but what album are you displaying there Sandy, I don't have a clue.

Alternate Tunings: CAUTION: your fingers have to be in different places

Don't sweat it BB...I just never liked the term "Alternative". My former band @#*&! (aka A Cartoon Swear) were once turned down to play at a pub on "Alternative Night" in the early 90's because we were actually alternative to Alternative. The question is Alternative to what...my uncle used to say to real music!

...his best IMO and you should hear it. He played all instruments and recorded it at home. He's quite a good drummer...Ringo was an influence on him.
