Kenneth sendt me this wonderful music yesterday and I added the vocals.... it might be a work in progress, but I'm not sure what to add and more importantly when I can get it done :) so here it is ...
The healing touch
Music: Ken/Words Geir

A healing touch
of her lips on the wound
her fingers on the shoulder
as she gaze up at the moon

a gentle hand
so hard to withstand
her soothing voice
displaces all the noise

the softness of her skin
healing from within
her smile the strongest drug
over the coffee mug

staring in her her eyes
finally realizing
everything is going to be fine

a thankful smile
against her loving cheek
eyes are closed but still she sees
everything she needs

side by side
staring at the roof
the definitive security
no need for further proof

staring in her her eyes
finally realizing
everything is going to be fine

A healing touch
of her lips on the scar
her fingers on the shoulder
as she gaze up at the stars

Magic!  A bit of Bruce Springsteen in those vox - in fact this song sounds a bit like the Boss jamming with U2 - which could be a recipe for disaster, but this one works a treat - well done guys!

Wonderful poetic mystical lyrics Geir, sung with so much feeling.  The music is very fine.  It seems to be slightly lost behing Geirs powerful vocals.  I think it is the bass and drums, I would be interested to hear this with the drums beefed up a bit.  I have been playing with the BR-1200 drums lately, one thing to do with the drums is use "Hard" kit, bounce it to a stero track, add reverb and slight delay (like slapback kind of delay), different stuff, like that.  Sometimes I bounce a few different kits to different stero pairs, hard, std1, jazz, apply different amounts of reverb and delay to each and then bounce these all down to a final stero pair for the final drums.  You can really add a lot to the drums playing around like this I find.  It feels like this track is needing more oomph on the drums, and then the bass brought up to match.  That would really give this track some groove.  Its a very good song guys.

Alternate Tunings: CAUTION: your fingers have to be in different places
