Hello all!

A few weeks ago I wrote a song. I didn't know was it ballad or a rock tune, so Geoff and Kenneth performed the rockier version at first. It is here: https://songcrafters.org/community/index.php?topic=9116.0

Now, I recorded the acoustic version and Geoff wrote lyrics and sang it.

The autumn wind has blown the rain away,

Melting leaves fall to the ground,

We feel the frost in the air today,

Through the trees there's not a sound.

Autumn nights turns to winter days again

Early mornings, float their listless haze,

Set up the pattern for my winter's day,

I walk through meadows where crops are always grown,

Every year the cycle is always on the turn,

On the ground a carpet of dying leaves,

Above  there's branches of all the sleeping trees,

They wake in spring,  When swallows sing.

Now days start with a drifting haze,

I gave this a listen a few minutes ago, and I'm very impressed with the song. The guitar sets a mood, and Geoff nails the sentiment with excellent vox and lyrics.

Absolutely beautiful guys. As you might know I don't use a computer so I got Willie W to download and burn me a copy. A truly lovely song. Les W
