"Stax" of emotion there Mike, lovely soulful feeling. It all sounds bloomin good for guitar synth, the horn sounds are very effective. I love the soulful guitar playing, some nice little chord parts and delightful solos. The vocals are great, your voice really suits this kind of music and your performance is really strong here. I don't think a harmony is necessary but if you don't feel up to singing them you could always try a harmonizer effect pedal.

It's a beautifully composed song as well, very catchy and overall the recording and production are excellent. Well done that Reverend!

Cheers,

Nigel

I'm on the dock of the bay dude :) I slipped into this so comfortably, while thinking of a down town louisianna jack and shrimp joint, listening to this on the juke  ;)

So melodic, so authentic, so deep rooted southern.
Love it :)

Its a Worldwide hit Mike, how about another slice of Motown like this, you have it good.
