But, I love this song so dearly.....
I can only give but a feeble attempt at covering this, I know!
But, what the heck?

Hey thanks Alex!
I've listened a couple of times now to it and I think
I will re-vox it later!
1st I sang it to a drum beat, so I wouldn't go to far off.
Then I recorded the piano, organ & bass parts...
Then went back and turned off the drums.
And finally loaded it up in Audacity to try to tweek it a bit....
But now it seems that Maybe I should go back and
re-sing it since I've made the music!

LG. nice job. If you are re-doing the the vox try more of a vibration with your vocals like the King.
Why don't we do it on the road?

fenderbender

hey thats pretty ok lg.
if your re-recording the vocals try some reverb and delay
but its pretty good as is.

strangely effective...but I don't recognize the tune...what is the name of this song?

lg

The name is 'First in Line'. It was released on his 2nd album,
simply entitled 'Elvis'.
My wife Rita, was my 1st girlfriend when we were in high
school, and now that we re-united and married, she is my
last!
So this is a song for her....the 1st & the last in line!
