very basic juno live to two tracks then warbled over the top. wasn't sure whether to post this one or not but geir gave me a push so here it is
written and composed by oldrottenhead
singing and hitting his juno di
I don't know
If there's any words left
It seems they've all been used
I'm getting tired of
Shuffling them around
Anyway

Trying to come up with
Something
That's original or new
Trying to capture
That breath
Of
Fresh air

But time my enemy
Is on the run
So I steal moments
When I can
I can only try
I can only see
I can only do so much
With the time I've got

But there's the irony
There's the rub
It's all the distractions
That drag me from the cause
They provide the grist for the mill
And the well of inspiration
Refills
Through experience
And how the light
Dances on the water
And the clouds shade the landscape
And the people
That you meet
And talk to
Slowly but surely
The blank page
Will be filled
It's really just my diary
My thoughts written down
Or sung
Just like I'm doing now
Just like I'm doing now

That Juno has some great sounds, your lyrics and vox always seem to capture a mood, a feeling or just what your thinking, great work.

Excellent lines. At first I didn't think the vox fit quite right with the crescendo-ing backing but the more I heard the more it worked and became a unified whole. Good lyric.

Those things we take for granted - when we're young and immature - will surely return to haunt us when we're old and insecure

I really like this, spacy, proggy, mystical-space-prog almost.  I feel like I can levitate after listening.  Damn, you voice reminds me of something here, I just can't place it.

Alternate Tunings: CAUTION: your fingers have to be in different places

The simple songs are often the most touching ones. Here is a good example. I'll listen again to this song when I'm in bed (i.e. it goes on my mp3 player. :) ).
