Had an hour or two spare.

Just twiddling around and this happened. All contributions gratefully received.

We are here on Earth to fart around. Don't let anybody tell you any different

I wouldn't call this 'just twiddling around'! It has a really tight groove - great sound and feel. Reminds me a bit of 'Harlem Shuffle'. Will put some thought in and see if anything worthwhile surfaces... !  :)

I had the beginnings of something on this emerging last night. It's a work in progress, but I'll develop it properly to see how it turns out.

Dammit, I have an idea for this and it is 2.30am and far too late for recording vocals  >:( Hope I remember tomorrow.....

Tony

Ha!  It's 2.30 am for SteveG and too late to record vocals.  I just downloaded the mp3 and was working on a little electric piano part and now it's 1.00pm on Sunday afternoon here and I have to take my 10 yr old to the pictures.  The world just doesn't respect hobbies.

I'll try and finish something tonight but I'm not sure how to load things back up.

I don't sing myself but was just reading the lyrics of "Alley Cat" posted in this forum and it seemed to fit the sexy feel of the tune. 8)

Let me apologise before I start. I know this plays over Flash Harry's guitar too much and I know that the keyboard playing is too hamfisted but it is the first time that I've ever played keyboard to a whole song and it is the first time that I've tried to collaborate on the MBR or anywhere other than playing with live people.  I'm so over the moon that I actually did this that I will happily apologise in advance for it all.  It's just that I finally managed to do it and for that more bottles will be opened tonight.  Sorry, Flash, for stuffing up your tune but I'm pretending it was for a good cause.

I can't work out the mini-mp3 player, sorry.

Tony

I realize now that panning would help stop the overplaying.  I've read the manual but I'm still not up on panning.  I will get there, sorry.

SteveG

You are half way there with the MP3 player. Just copy the link location once it has posted, modify your post, click the blue speaker icon, and paste the link into the code it generates. Save, and there ya go  ;D

Panning ... press one of the TR buttons, cursor </> till you get to the pan screen and the track in question is underlined, then +/- to set the pan. Dont forget to set level and reverb to taste in the same way.

I am hoping to find time to put a vocal on this today, there will be loads of space left after, so maybe you can redo the keys on that?
