Once again, sorry for all the posts, but I would like some constructive feedback. It looks like we are shooting to start playing out in the Spring, so your commentary is especially important to me now (not that it wasn't before, but you know what I mean).

We didn't want to make some of the mistakes we made with the old rhythm section, so our new modus operandi is to send out tunes to learn (along with lyrics and chord charts if available) ahead of time. I can't tell you how much time we wasted in the past learning songs collectively. Anyway, we are just trying a song or two per week. I figured I would slip this one in under the radar after we finished with the "homework tunes." Quite literally, we were reading the chord changes off a small whiteboard on which I had scribbled ten minutes before they walked through the door.

Recorded live to a BR-1600.

WOW !!!

I think you guys can rehearse far more than one or two a week !!!!!

This sounds fantastic for a early (first?) runthrough.

Playing out in the spring? That's REALLY Good news!! Make sure to record it when you do !!!

Very good cover. Ya-all sounded relaxed, like you enjoyed playing the tune. Would have guessed you played it many times before. Thats what audiences want. On to the next one!!!  Ted
Dance as if no one were watching.
Sing as if no one were listening.
And live every day as if it were your last.

This is really grooving.  Recording wise the drums are a little low in the mix, but this is not an exercise in recording demo's  but practicing for the day when you guys make a mint playing out in clubs, get filthy rich and all quit your day jobs.  That singer is gold.  It really sounds good to me.

Alternate Tunings: CAUTION: your fingers have to be in different places

I love CCR and John Fogerty freakin rocks!

Great job on this one Bloob and the new MoO. You`ll attract the audience well when you guys play this one. It gets everyone dancing usually.

Yeah the drums are low but it sounds pretty damn good to me for just a one off recording. Awesome!

One of, if not my all time fav CCR song! The band sounds great and delivers the tune with all the angst it deserves. great vox and playing all around. My fav part is how it sounds like it was recorded outside on stage at a festival. Cool!!

Alright Booby! For a first night with this song it sounds pretty tight! I think the group is sounding good and this will get folks on the dance floor for sure. Sending out the chords and lyric for prior home work is a great way to learn songs as whole and not waste or bore the other band members, especially the drummer. The use of an erasable white board is another great tool. That is exactly the process we used for many years. The song and band sounds real good!

As far as constructive criticism goes, this was pretty damn solid. I didn't hear anything that I could pinpoint as a weakness. I too love the dry erase board idea, but be sure to wipe it clear before it becomes a crutch.

You just inspired me to post a live recording.
